Should We Bring Back School Lunches?

After faithfully providing you the school lunches each morning at 6:45 a.m. on the XL Morning Show, we made the decision to stop doing them. To be perfectly honest with you, I loved giving the lunches--I was the one who started them when I came to XL back in 2014)--but I just felt that we didn't present them very well. I also thought that, perhaps, they had run their course.

Definitely one of the challenges of providing the school lunches each day was that there were quite a few schools that were included each morning, plus senior centers, so I questioned whether people really cared for the content. In addition to that, you may not have kids in school, so do you really care what the kids are eating? And if you do have kids going to school, did you really care about hearing what the other schools were having for lunch? All of that made me question whether the school lunches were actually being embraced by the XL Nation.

Since the time, however, that we decided to forgo the school lunches, I have had several people reach out to me, asking why we stopped (see above), and letting me know they wished that we would re-consider the decision.
