Sammy Kershaw + Montgomery Gentry Close Headwaters Country Jam 2014
The final day of Headwaters Country Jam 2014 featured a walk down memory lane with country music legend Sammy Kershaw and an explosive performance from Montgomery Gentry. Music aside the day also featured a wet t-shirt and blue jeans contest that had both Cowboys and Cowgirls cheering early on in the afternoon.
Sammy Kershaw took the stage first, reminding fans just how many hits he has recorded over the years. His set included classics like 'She Don't Know She's Beautiful' and 'Queen of My Doublewide Trailer' alongside some of his newer music. Many don't realize that Kershaw is still actively recording and released an album with a combination of past hits and new tracks this past November. Headwaters fans were no strangers to his hits and most of the crowd was singing along to the classic country songs.
The final performance of Headwaters 2014 by Montgomery Gentry offered fans all they could have wanted. With fourteen top ten country music singles, the duo had no shortage of songs to rock out to with the crowd. Their set included hit songs 'My Town' and 'Back When I knew it All' amongst many others. Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry also showed of their personalities on stage as they poked fun at each other. Troy Gentry claimed that Eddie Montgomery was actually the first person to twerk as the duo joked around on stage. The performance was a perfect ending to a wild and crazy three days at Headwaters Country Jam 2014.
