I love this time of year and the anticipation of the big game.

Let's be honest, this coming weekend has become an unofficial holiday here in America and Montana. Oh, and just like any other holiday, we celebrate it with food. Lots and lots of glorious food. Family and friends from all over Montana will gather together this Sunday and eat and eat...then eat some more.

Pro Tip: Make sure you have a bottle of antacids available nearby.

I love football and I love to cook, so anytime you get an invite to the Derek and Jules Super Bowl Party, you should totally show up. We have the normal stuff, chicken wings, chips, crockpot meatballs, and pigs in a blanket. Plus, my claim to fame, Reuben dip. (think Reuben sandwich, but in a hot-dip form...it's amazing)

So what about you? What are Montanans going to have this Sunday for the big game? Do you have a special recipe that you bring out for Super Bowl Parties? What is your favorite food to have while watching the Super Bowl?

Here are a few options Montanans are planning on having this Sunday:

  • Chili
  • Nachos
  • Rotel Dip
  • Wings
  • Buffalo Chicken Dip
  • Spinach and Artichoke Dip
  • Frito Chili Pie
  • Pizza
  • Sliders
  • Beer
  • Fried Pickles
  • Little Smokies
  • Steak
  • Jello Shots
  • Beer Cheese Soup

All of these sound fantastic! Enjoy the game and all of the delicious treats, oh and for real...antacids. You'll thank me later.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
