Popular Montana Event Postponed Until 2024. Here’s Why
A popular annual event in Southwest Montana has been posted until 2024. Here's everything you need to know about it.
Each year, some of the most luxurious and state-of-the-art homes in Southwest Montana are put on display during the Southwest Montana Building Industry Association (SWMBIA) Parade of Homes. Unfortunately, this year's event has been postponed until 2024.
In a press release, SWMBIA explained the reasoning behind the postponement.
We regret to announce the 2023 Parade of Homes has been postponed until 2024. The POH committee has worked tirelessly over the past 11 months to put together a first class event as we all become accustomed to.
However, after countless phone calls, emails, committee meetings and conversations, we have come to the conclusion that having a Parade this year would not represent either SWMBIA or the handful of builders in a positive way to our community and what everyone involved has come to expect. The main challenge was finding the appropriate number of homes to be featured that reflect the quality, craftsmanship, and beauty our members create.
We do not take this decision lightly and have already started to look towards a 2024 POH that will be revamped, revitalized and one of the best parades to date.
That being said, we are actively working to create a new opportunity for you to showcase your home or building. Our POH committee is working diligently to finalize and release this new opportunity that we are very excited about. We feel this will be a wonderful product that will help emphasize the incredible talent and skill of our membership.
We appreciate your understanding and your patience,
