Which Montana town was named one of the best cities in America?
WalletHub released its list of best and worst small cities in America and according to their data, coming in number 9 on the Best Small Cities list is Bozeman, Montana.
Bozeman has been one of the fastest growing cities in America for the last few years and according to WalletHub, there's a lot of positive happening in the city. So how did WalletHub come up with its rankings? According to their website, they looked at the following:
- Affordability
- Economic Health
- Education
- Quality of Life
- Safety
As you would expect, Bozeman was ranked high in some categories and lower in others. While the city's economic health is among the strongest in the nation, the affordability factor isn't where many Bozeman residents would like it to be.

While Bozeman has much to offer when it comes to outdoor recreation, education, social interaction, and jobs, not everyone in Montana is a fan. For many, the city is seen as "snooty" and "out of touch" with much of Montana. Whether that's true or not is debatable, what isn't however, is the fact that news like this certainly won't slow down those wanting to move to the city.
