WalletHub released its list of best and worst small cities in America and according to their data, coming in number 9 on the Best Small Cities list is Bozeman, Montana.

Bozeman has been one of the fastest growing cities in America for the last few years and according to WalletHub, there's a lot of positive happening in the city. So how did WalletHub come up with its rankings? According to their website, they looked at the following:

  • Affordability
  • Economic Health
  • Education
  • Quality of Life
  • Safety

As you would expect, Bozeman was ranked high in some categories and lower in others. While the city's economic health is among the strongest in the nation, the affordability factor isn't where many Bozeman residents would like it to be.

However, compared to other cities, education and quality of life is very high.

Is Bozeman the only Montana city that made the list?

While Bozeman scored the highest, it wasn't the only Montana town that made the list. Missoula, Helena, and Great Falls also made the list of some of the best small towns in the United States.
