Several people, including some country music artists, have called out singer Chase Rice for holding a concert this past weekend in Petros, Tennessee. Rice posted video from the show on his Twitter account and immediately began to draw fire from some who felt that holding a concert for nearly1000 fans was irresponsible in the time of a pandemic.


Others replied to the criticism saying that those attending the show were not forced to do so.

According to the show's promoters, all local requirements were adhered to, and attendance was well below reduced capacity set up for COVID-19, allowing ample space for concert-goers to spread out.
