Bozeman’s Gallatin Valley Mall: New Name And Stores Announced
When you live in a place like Montana, you're probably not here for the shopping scene. This isn’t LA or New York City—we don’t have endless retail options around every corner. That’s why when something new does open up, it’s kind of a big deal. Especially when it involves Bozeman’s one and only indoor mall.
The Gallatin Valley Mall has been under construction for a while now, and there have been plenty of rumors swirling about what stores might fill the empty spaces. We’ve even asked our readers and listeners what they’d love to see pop up in town. The answers? Everything from more clothing stores to—yep—a roller rink (which honestly sounds awesome).
Well, this past Saturday, the mall finally made things official in a Facebook post. And not only did they announce the new lineup of stores, but they also dropped a name change. That’s right—Gallatin Valley Mall is now going by Gallatin Crossing.
So what can Bozeman shoppers expect to see opening their doors soon?
Big brands, no doubt. But not everyone’s thrilled. The comments were a mix of excitement and hesitation. Some folks are pumped to see high-end names coming to town, while others were quick to point out the lack of affordable options. A few questioned whether these are locally owned or just more out-of-town chains moving in.

Fair questions. But the mall (or should we say Gallatin Crossing?) made it clear—this is just the beginning. Their caption read:
“And this is only the beginning. Stay tuned — Gallatin Crossing is reimagining the Bozeman shopping experience.”
