NBA Superstar Kobe Bryant Killed in Helicopter Crash

UPDATE: It is now being confirmed that along with Bryant was his 13yr old daughter, Gianna. ESPN is reporting that they were on their way to a travel basketball game. They are also reporting now that there were nine people on board the helicopter. None survived.

Several media outlets are reporting that Kobe Bryant was killed in a helicopter crash on Sunday. The former L.A. Laker and NBA superstar perished reportedly along with five other passengers. Bryant owned a helicopter but it is not know if it was his that crashed. The accident happened near Calabasas in Southern California.

Bryant was 41 years old. He finished his career as an 18-time All-Star, 15-time All-NBA team, 12-time All-NBA Defensive Team selection, two time NBA Finals MVP and the 2008 NBA MVP.
