If you love dragons, mermaids, and unicorns then there is an exhibit you definitely don't want to miss.
Museum of the Rockies invites you to immerse yourself in the origins of legendary beings worldwide, unveiling a mesmerizing showcase of imaginative models, captivating paintings, and rich cultural artifacts. From the mythical Creatures of Water to the majestic Dragons, each section promises a breathtaking adventure.
You can use your imagination as you are looking at the 17-foot dragon or 10-foot unicorn models.

The Museum of the Rockies (MOR) is one of Bozeman's favorite spots to take the entire family. Or if you have guests in town, it's a great local "must-visit". Hours are typically 9am to 5pm with the exception of some holidays where hours may vary.

The MOR operates as an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and a college-level division of Montana State University. The museum proudly carries the distinction of being a Smithsonian Affiliate and serves as a vital repository for state and federal fossils.
**Mythic Creatures is organized by the American Museum of Natural History, New York (amnh.org) in collaboration with The Field Museum, Chicago; Canadian Museum of History, Gatineau; Australian National Maritime Museum, Sydney; and Fernbank Museum of Natural History, Atlanta.
