If you need to get your vehicle titled or registered here are some options for you:

  • You can go to the Belgrade Office. They are open to walk-in traffic Mondays through Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 312 West Main
  • If you have recently purchased a vehicle from a dealership you have an automatic 90-day extension to title and register your vehicle. All renewals also have an additional 30 day grace period past the stated expiration. These new policies were implemented because of COVID-19.
  • You can complete renewals online here.
  • If you have any additional questions you can email their office at mv@gallatin.mt.gov.

Remember, the Gallatin County Motor Vehicle Office does NOT process Montana Drivers' Licenses, road testing, VIN inspections, and other related services. Those services are available at the Gallatin County Driver's License Office located at 2005 Gilkerson Dr. #B, Bozeman, MT (off of Griffin Drive).
