If you remember, last February in Bozeman was one of the snowiest on record. Over 21 inches of snow fell, and after a pretty mild winter so far, this February is beginning to shape up a lot like last year.

After 7 - 10 inches of snow fell in the Gallatin Valley on Sunday, another storm is expected to move into the Bozeman area on Wednesday. The valley areas are expected to receive anywhere from 4-8 inches of snow Wednesday - Saturday, while the highest levels of the local mountains could receive up to two feet of white powder.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Bozeman area from Wednesday afternoon thru late Thursday night.

- Total snow accumulations 6 to 12 inches between 4000 feet and 7000 feet, with 12 to 24 inches above 7000 feet. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph.

- Snow is expected in portions of central, southwest and west central Montana.

Expect slick roads and areas of blowing snow could reduce visibility.
