More Snow Expected For Southwest Montana

Southwest Montana is in store for more snow with a Winter Storm Watch in effect Thursday afternoon into Saturday.

With this large storm you can expect:

• 3 to 6 inches possible in the valleys
• Difficult travel conditions
• 1 to 2 feet possible for the mountains
• Heaviest snow expected Thursday night through Friday night
• Reduced Visibility

The Winter Storm Watch is in effect for most of Southwest Montana including Gallatin, Beaverhead, Madison, Jefferson and Broadwater counties.
