Friday evening, the Gallatin City-County Health Department issued an update on the condition of the person who tested positive here locally for the coronavirus. The individual is a male in his 40s, and according to the health department, he has mild symptoms and his resting comfortably at home.

Matt Kelley, Health Officer with Gallatin City-County Health Department, said that "the individual had a history of recent international travel," and they believe he most likely did not pick up the virus here in Montana. The person had no contact with any local schools or senior care facilities.

3 other individuals in Montana also tested positive for the coronavirus on Friday. Their test results were sent to the Center for Disease Control (CDC) for confirmation.
