When you think of Montana, you think of beauty. Whether it's one of our many mountain ranges, endless prairies, stunning forests, or one of our waterways, there's a reason they call it the Treasure State.

Water is a big deal here in Montana.

From boating, swimming, fishing, rafting, and tubing, Montanans spend a lot of time on the water. The state has thousands of rivers and lakes, but when it comes to the most popular, some rise above the rest.

If you were to ask Montanans which lake is their favorite, several would say Flathead Lake. The popular lake is the biggest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi and is loved by thousands of locals and non-locals who spend their summers basking in the Montana sun while being out on the water.
