If you have been to Missoula in the last 42 years, you have most likely stopped into a little shop called Carlo's One Night Stand. Now if you haven't, you still have a little time left to stop in and say HI to the owner, Max Gilliam.

The shop started out as a sort of hobby for Gilliam. He loved to go to rummage sales, finding treasures all over the place, but his true passion was finding vintage clothing and costumes. The month of October was always a great month for Carlo's One Night Stand, as college kids would flood the store looking for the perfect Halloween attire. And one look around the shop, you will see why they loved going there.

Carlo's One Night Stand is located on what Missoula calls the Hip Strip. An area with fun other shops and where Gilliam felt at home. There is some good news with the closing of the store. Gilliam DOES plan to still sell online. Although, going in and hearing the story of the story, meeting Gilliam, and his stories seems like a great time in its self.

The doors to Carlo's One Night Stand will be open until February, but this will be the LAST Halloween that you can go in and physically shop at the store. The time is approaching quickly, so if you are like me, you should be planning a trip to this one-of-a-kind shop. I am sure Gilliam will be thrilled to see you!
