Montana Pitmaster Classic BBQ Event is This Weekend

The First Official Barbecue Championship of the State of Montana is happening this Friday & Saturday at Kenyon Noble in Bozeman. BBQ teams from all over the United States, as well as Canada, are coming to show off their barbecuing skills and compete to see who has the best barbecue in Montana.

Even Montana Governor Steve Bullock has recognized the event as the Official State Barbecue Championship of the State of Montana. The Montana Pitmaster Classic is also a sanctioned event of the Kansas City Barbeque Society, the world's largest organization of barbecue and grilling enthusiasts.

Friday, bring out the family, enjoy BBQ goodness and blues music with Andre Floyd from 5 to 8 p.m. This is a free event (you do pay for your BBQ) and proceeds from the food will go to Benefit Gallatin Valley YMCA

Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. will be the BBQ Cook-Off Competition. There will also be classes where you can get tips from the BBQ pros who are participating.
