
Is Montana A Nuclear Target?
Depending on who you go to for news, it seems that the end of the world is upon us and unless you don't watch the news or follow any sort of social media, you might not know the latest.
The United States teamed up with Israel and attacked the country of Iran.
Now, depending on who you talk to about this, it's either the greatest thing ever, or the worst thing ever. (that's politics for you) However, it does raise a question or two about safety.

If, and it's a big if, we were to some how find ourselves in sort sort of World War 3 situation, just how save would we be living in Montana?
Where are the safest places to be in a Nuclear War?
According to a recent article by VT, the safest places to be in the event that it all hits the fan are places like:
- Antarctica
- Iceland
- New Zealand and Australia
- Switzerland
- Argentina
- Chile
- Fiji
- South Africa
There are more, but to be honest, I've never heard of them. I can tell you a country that didn't make the list, the United States. More specifically, Montana.
It seems that the Treasure State has a big ole "Bull's Eye" on it.
Of course, we are home to Malmstrom Air Force Base which is home to the Minuteman 3, which is an ballistic missile that just happens to be able to carry nuclear warheads. In fact, out of the three bases that are homes to these types of missiles, Malmstrom is the biggest.
Is Montana in danger if there was a third World War?
To answer the question, yes. We would be one of the first places hit according to many military experts. But, let's be honest, who want's to leave in some post Nuclear Holocaust type of world?

Not me.
