Before you know it, it will be "Tourist Season" in Montana.

For those unaware, tourist season kicks off right around Memorial Day and runs through Labor Day. In that short period, millions of folks will come to Montana to partake in all that we have to offer. Most of them will visit either Yellowstone National Park, Glacier National Park, or both.

While both parks have always been popular, it seems that each year that passes, the number of people visiting grows. Last year, the two parks combined for almost 8 million visitors, which is crazy when you think the entire state of Montana has just over 1 million residents.

While the country has National Parks throughout, Yellowstone and Glacier are on many peoples' "bucket lists" and with good reason. While both are stunning, they're also very different.

I think Glacier has more beauty, but it's hard to deny the awe-inspiring scenery of Yellowstone, especially with all of the wildlife. Throw in the fact that it's on top of the world's largest super volcano, and there's a pretty cool science factor involved as well.
