Single Ladies, Here’s The Details On Dating In Montana.
There's a whole lot to love about Montana.
We've got the mountains, rivers, streams, forests, and all kinds of adventures. Whether you're looking to camp, fish, hike, bike, or ski, Montana is one of the best outdoor playgrounds in the world. What we don't have, however, is a thriving dating scene, at least according to one source.
Ladies, if you are single and ready to mingle, Montana might not be the best spot for all you gals looking for love. There are several other states where your odds are much higher.
So, what is the single population here in Montana?
According to data from the TDM Agency, almost 30 percent of the state's population is single, so a little less than 1 in 3. Now, you would think that with a percentage that large, it might be a little easier to find someone you're compatible with, right?
Ummm, nope.
Montana ranks 36th out of 50 states for single ladies looking for love. What does that mean? Well, it means that if you're a single female living in Montana, you might have to be a bit creative when it comes to dating.

Things are different now; gone is the stigma from meeting people online or on dating apps. There was a time when if you told someone you met your significant other online, you would receive a serious side eye; however, it's not normal, which means that you might be able to find the perfect someone in another state.
I get it, long-distance dating isn't for everyone, but at least it's an option.
So, why is Montana so bad for single females? There are a few different factors that come into play, such as:
- male to female ratio
- income
- unemployment rate
- cost of living
- diversity
- restaurants
- bars and nightclubs
- sex offenders
When you combine all of those together, Montana has a total score of 47.59 out of 100.
