Summer in Montana means many things, but one of the most important is "grilling season".

Now for some of us, "grilling season" is all year round, but there's no doubt that many Montanans will be bringing out the grills and getting them ready to cook some amazing foods all across Big Sky Country.

It seems that those of who cook on the grill all have a specialty that we fall back on, for some it's pork, others will do wild game, burgers and hot dogs are always popular, but what is the number one item that Montanans are looking to grill? What is the item that Montanans agree on being the best thing you can make on the grill?

It's an interesting a question, and while we could debate the answer, the point is, we do have an answer.

What are Montanan's grilling?

When it comes to grilling in Montana, the number one item is none other than the Montana Ribeye. At least according to Inner Body that took a look at all 50 states to see what they were cooking on the grill. Oh, and in case you are curious, beef is the top choice for grillers across the country with burgers being the number one on the list.

It should be noted that ribeye is also popular in North Dakota, Colorado, and New Mexico.
