Missing Bozeman Man Found in Hyalite Canyon

A Bozeman man who went missing last week was found this morning. At around 10 a.m., the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue Team located the remains of 51-year-old Jordi Duffy of Parap, Australia. Mr. Duffy was found near a roadway in Hyalite Canyon.

At this time his death appears to be from natural causes. The Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office, Bozeman Police Department, and the Gallatin County Coroner’s Office are still investigating the case. Mr. Duffy’s body will be taken to the Montana State Crime Lab in Missoula for an autopsy.
