Meeting To Discuss Mountain Lion Quotas Set For Today

If you have an opinion about this, you need to make it to this meeting! Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks will host a public meeting tonight (March 26, 2013) to discuss mountain lion management and tentative quotas for the 2013 hunting season in Region 3.

The meeting is set for 7 p.m. at the Methodist Church Annex (114 E. Cedar) in Three Forks.

FWP staff will present current mountain lion management and harvest data. Representatives from the Montana State Houndsmen Association will also be there.

FWP will use the public input from the meeting to develop tentative quota recommendations. The Commission will finalize mountain lion quotas in June.
