Every year the Mason Moore Foundation offers a calendar featuring first responders throughout the state of Montana. In previous years the effort has been to put a human face on the professionals who keep our communities safe. This year the annual calendar will focus on first responder families.

Brothers serving with brothers and fathers serving with sons are some of the first responder families you'll see in this year's twelve-month calendar for the year 2021.

Josh Allmendinger Fireman Butte Fire Dept. and Brian Taylor Gallatin Co. Sheriff’s Deputy are featured holding a picture of brother and brother-in-law Deputy Jake Allmendinger, who was died in the line of duty in October 2019. They stood under a flag raised by Sheriff Brian Gootkin in the wake of the Bridger Foothills fire – the flag raised replaced a burnt flag.

Also included in the calendar are:

  • Justin Schnelbach, Sergeant Gallatin Co. Sheriff Office with his brother, Eric Schnelbach, STEP Officer Billings PD.
  • Anthony Stratman Captain Central Valley Fire stands with his brother Ryan Stratman, Captain Gallatin Co. Sheriff’s Office.
  • The Aune family in Three Forks who represent three generations of Firefighters.

The annual calendar was started by Jodi Moore, the widow of Broadwater Sheriff's Deputy Mason Moore, who was killed in the line of duty in May of 2017. Local Gallatin Valley photographer Jeff Krogstad produces the touching photographs.

Included in a letter penned by Mason in the event that he was killed in the line of duty, he specifically urged Jodi and his family not to let hate take over their lives and to "Let Love Win."

Six short months after his death, Jodi began working tirelessly to get Mason’s Let Love Win message out by putting a human face on the law enforcement profession that has received so much negative attention in recent years.

All monies raised from the calendar and other fundraising activities go directly to law enforcement across the state to help them get the equipment they need to serve their communities safely.

Several generous sponsors have stepped up to cover the cost of producing the calendars allowing every penny from their purchases to go directly to the foundation grant program. Thank you to:
