Which Montana Lodge was named the best in the country?

The social site OOAKT put together a list of the Top 10 Most Scenic Lodges in America, and it just so happens that a popular Montana Lodge took the top spot. So what makes this Lodge so special?

Not only is it historic, but it has an amazing view.

Located in Glacier National Park, the Many Glacier Lodge was voted the most scenic Lodge in America. Oh, and in case you were wondering, it was also the ONLY Montana Lodge that made the list.  The Lodge was built from 1914 to 1915 and, like many historic structures in the state, was funded by the Great Northern Railway.

If you've been to the Many Glacier Lodge, you know not only does it have an amazing view of Swift Current Lake, but the structure itself is impressive. Styled after a Swiss Chalet, the building has over 200 rooms, but they sell out fast.

Keep in mind that areas around the area will be closed for repair until 2026; however, that will not affect bookings in the Many Glacier Lodge.
