According to Planet of Facts, the most expensive structure in Montana is located in Colstrip, Montana. Located in Rosebud County, Colestrip is a small town of around 2000 people, but it certainly has its claim to fame.

Back in 2005, for its 50th Anniversary Edition, the popular magazine Sports Illustrated highlighted Colstrip as the "Best Sports Town in Montana." It's not just sports in Colstrip, they also have Colstrip Days every summer that will always bring in a crowd.

Mining was the town's biggest money maker as things started happening back in 1924, once the folks at Northern Pacific Railway built the company town to provide coal for the locomotives.
