The City of Manhattan is once again urging residents who are affected by the current sewer rehab project to leave their water faucets trickling thru October 13th. Below is the message they've sent to residents and posted on the city's Facebook page:

FOR RESIDENCES AND BUSINESSES DIRECTLY AFFECTED BY THE SEWER REHAB PROJECT, YOUR DIVERTED WATER SERVICE IS AT HIGH RISK OF FREEZING! PLEASE LEAVE FAUCETS TRICKLING!!! YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED EXTRA FOR THIS! IF YOU ARE AFFECTED, YOU WOULD HAVE RECEIVED A NOTICE ON YOUR FRONT DOOR. IF YOUR PROPERTY LIES ON THE FIRST BLOCK BETWEEN SOUTH 2ND STREET AND SOUTH 5TH STREET, YOUR WATER SERVICE HAS BEEN DIVERTED AND IS AT HIGH RISK FOR FREEZING! WE WISH TO AVOID THIS SITUATION;) PLEASE LEAVE FAUCETS TRICKLING!!!

If you have questions, call the City of Manhattan at 406.284.3235.
