None other than Dwight Yoakam.  Yoakam, who made his way onto the scene back in 1986 with huge hits like "Guitars and Cadillacs", "Honkey Tonk Man", and "Streets of Bakersfield" has been a mainstay on country radio for almost 40 years.

As country music exploded in the 90s, Yoakam was one of the forces behind the format's popular growth with hits like "A Thousand Miles From Nowhere", "Ain't That Lonely Yet", and "Fast As You". Of course, Yoakam has also branched out into the world of acting and received reviews for his role in the Academy Award-winning movie Sling Blade.
