The ranch has become a popular destination for fans of Paramount Network's original series Yellowstone.
The Chief Joseph Ranch is a family-owned ranch. Shane Libel, owner of the ranch recently sat down to explain the things that happen on the ranch outside of filming for the popular TV series.
The most surreal thing in the world, and the most humbling thing in the world is when you're sitting in your own living room watching a show that's filmed in your house.
said Libel.
Libel says that hundreds of people stop by the Chief Joseph Ranch to take pictures of the Dutton Ranch sign popularized by the show featuring Kevin Costner. The sign is left up year-round, and most people just snap a picture through the gate.
