A tragic accident last week in Livingston has a family mourning and a community coming together to help that family grieve the loss of their son.

Cayden James Leonard, 11 years old, was killed on Thursday, July 18, 2019, when he was hit by a car while riding his bike. According to the Livingston Enterprise, Cayden was struck by a pickup truck in the 100 block of West Chinook. He was transported to the hospital but died as a result of his injuries.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established through GoFundMe. Money raised will be given to his parents, Cassidy and Greg, for funeral expenses and other general expenses (food, gas, etc) during this difficult time. If you would like to contribute, click on the button below.

There is a memorial for Cayden Leonard at the accident site on Chinook. It includes a painting with a sharpie stuck in it for anyone who would like to share a note for the family. The family has personally invited anyone who would like to attend to a Celebration of Cayden “Crazy Kenny” Leonard’s life in front of the Gateway Museum at 118 W. Chinook St in Livingston on Thursday July 25th at 7 p.m.
