Limited Entry at Many Fishing Access Sites Due to High Water

Due to extremely high water, flood conditions, and associated public safety concerns, Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks closed many fishing access sites (FASs) around west-central Montana under the direction of the Incident Command for the Missoula flood.

Closed sites along the Clark Fork River include:

• Sha-Ron
• Kelly Island (all access points)
• Kona
• Deep Creek,
• Harpers Bridge FASs
• Council Grove State Park
• Mid Canon Fishing Access Site on the Missouri River. (About halfway between Helena and Great Falls)
