If you're new to fly fishing, here's a great opportunity to learn the ropes.

Bozeman Angler is hosting a Fly Fishing 101 Class this Saturday. The class will cover the basics of fly fishing to help you find success during your next outing on the water. They will be covering rod setup, fly selection, knot tying, where to find fish, fly casting, and more during the class. You'll start in the classroom, and spend the afternoon learning how to cast at a local park. Cost is $125/person and classes are limited to only 5 students to ensure a great instructor to student ratio. The class is offered once a month, June-September.

While there is no actual fishing during this class, it keeps the focus on learning. Many students end up going on a guided trip after the class to get out on the river and put their new skills to use.
