An exciting new coffee shop that combines quality coffee and martial arts is now open in Manhattan, just west of Bozeman. It's safe to say that you won't find anything else like it in Montana. If you want to get your daily caffeine fix and learn about martial arts techniques and self defense, here's everything you need to know about it.

Montana is full of unique businesses that offer a variety of different products and services. As a resident of Manhattan, I can tell you that a new business opening in town is extremely rare. Manhattan is lacking when it comes to restaurants and local businesses. If you want to go out to eat, your best bet is to head into Belgrade or Bozeman. Don't get me wrong, I love living in Manhattan. I just wish there was more to do around town.

If you're craving a good cup of coffee, Manhattan has a few local coffee shops like Harvest Moon, Broadway Brew, and Sophie's Bakery. However, a new coffee shop that recently opened has locals buzzing, and it's not just because of how strong the coffee is.

I recently heard about a new locally-owned coffee shop that opened on Main St. in Manhattan. It's called Bushido Mountain Coffee. The logo for the shop looks like a Samurai warrior ready for battle. I spoke with Jason Cruz, the owner of the shop, and he filled us in on what to expect if you visit Bushido Mountain Coffee.

At Bushido Mountain Coffee, our journey began with a simple idea - to create a sanctuary for Martial Arts, Coffee, & Automobile lovers.

MONTANA COFFEE SHOP COMBINE MARTIAL ARTS & GREAT COFFEE

First, Bushido Mountain Coffee is located inside of the Auto Inn at 114 Main Street. As of now, the coffee shop is open Friday-Sunday from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00. You can also get authentic Filipino food on Sundays.

Cruz has plans to turn the space into a martial arts studio, and will offer self defense classes in the future. The studio is expected to open sometime this spring. Classes will be available for all skill levels.

Several of the drink names at Bushido Mountain Coffee were inspired by different martial arts moves including the One-Inch Punch, Arm Lock, and Guillotine. The shop will also be a place for automobile lovers to gather, and a variety of car shows are planned later this year.
