There is a campground in Montana named the best in Big Sky Country, but there might be a better spot.
HipCamp came out with its 2024 awards for campgrounds. They have categories like Best Cabin Rentals in America or New Campgrounds To Check Out, but the one category we want to chat about today is Best All-Around Campground.
The Best All-Around Campgrounds had four criteria: price, spots available, location, and whether they allow pets.
The way HipCamp ranked the list was essentially a Top 10. The Top 3 campgrounds were ranked, and the other seven were runner-ups.
The campground in Montana was one of seven runner-ups.
Glacier Park HipCamp is a fantastic spot to camp out next to Glacier National Park.
They allow pets, have a glamping site available, and are close to multiple outdoor activities.
The best part of this spot is the price.
Some spots are as low as $40. Glacier National Park camp spots get booked immediately, and this area has availability throughout the summer.
If you have never visited Glacier National Park, you are missing out on one of the most gorgeous areas in Montana. The hiking trails alone are worth the weekend trip.
