Another day, another report talking about whether or not Montana is a good place to live or not.

It's interesting because it really depends on who you talk to. For folks visiting Big Sky Country, they're all in agreement that this place is special (and it is). However, is it a place where you would like to live? For some of us, the answer to that question is yes. For others, Montana is a better place to vacation than to call home.

However, some find that out too late.

Yes, Montana is beautiful, but it's also expensive, has long winters, and is home to many creatures that can kill you. While several folks might have the dream of riding a horse, wearing a cowboy hat, and working the ranch, 98 percent of the folks aren't built for that for the long haul.

Where does Montana rank among the other states in the country?

Now, that might seem a little hard to believe, because I feel like everyone is either moving to Montana or Tennessee, but according to their data, Montana is ranked 4th on the Top 10 Most Understated States in America. (btw, Tennessee is ranked 6th)

Don't get me wrong, 4th is pretty darn good, but our neighbors over in Wyoming actually beat us out and landed in the 2nd spot.
