Earlier this month, HRDC volunteer extraordinaire Dorothy Roeder celebrated her
100th birthday with many friends and family. Dorothy has been an HRDC volunteer for over two decades, serving a total of 35,316.50 hours. During those twenty-plus years, Dorothy has received the Home Instead Montana’s Salute to Senior Service Award (State), as well as the Points of Light Award (National).

“There are not many people that can say at the age of 100, they are still actively volunteering and giving back to her community," says Margaret Mason, HRDC Senior Programs Director." Dorothy is a true inspiration as someone who has always given back. Whether it was through her service to our country as a WWII veteran or as a dedicated volunteer through RSVP, her dedication and commitment are remarkable."

If you happen to run across Dorothy, make sure you congratulate her and thank her for her service to our community!
