Heavy Snow Possible for Bozeman Area Tues Evening Into Thurs

The National Weather Service is issuing a Winter Storm Watch from Tuesday evening through Wednesday evening for the Bozeman area .Heavy snow is possible.

Total snow accumulations could be up to 16 inches in the upper elevations, with 6 to 10 inches at lower elevations.

Winds are also expected to be strong with gusts up to 35 mph, and temperatures could drop nearly 40° degrees.

Travel could be very difficult with areas of blowing snow and reduced visibility.
