Gwyneth Bombs At The Box Office
Yikes. The box office weekend was not kind to Gwyneth Paltrow. Her movie, 'Country Strong,' was released nationwide and opened up in sixth place with $7.3 million. The film only cost $12.5 million to make and was targeted mostly to the heartland states.
The western True Grit, starring Jeff Bridges and Matt Damon, came into the #1 spot with $15 million, while last week's Little Fockers moved to the number 2 spot with $13.8 million.
Black Swan continued to soar, coming in 5th place, bringing in additional $8.4 million, which has brought its box office total to an impressive $61.5 million.
