Have you ever asked yourself, "I wish I could make a difference?"  Let's be honest, sometimes things get a little heavy with all the 24 hour news channels and multiple outlets for social media.

It's pretty easy to get a little cynical and think there isn't much you can do to help someone else.

However, you might want to mark July 30th down on your calendar for Vitalant's Third Annual Bozeman's Biggest Blood Drive. The event is happening at the Gallatin Valley Mall in Macy's Court. The Blood Drive kicks off at noon and goes until 6 pm.

Vitalant is the only provider for blood products in over 30 hospitals in Montana and Northern Wyoming, including Livingston, Big Sky, Madison Valley, and here in Bozeman.

Right now the nation is in desperate need of Type O blood, although all blood types are more than welcome.

We've all heard the whole "Give the gift of Live" but the truth is, that is exactly what we're doing when we donate blood.  Plus, as an added bonus, there are several different gift baskets and certificates that have been donated by local businesses and each donor will be entered to win!
