MAERA, a non-profit (Montana Awareness, Education and Equine Rehab Association) in Belgrade is opening its facility to help anyone in need who may need to move their horses from any fires (especially the Bear Trap Fire) to get them out of harm’s way.

If you find any horses, you can also contact MAERA to house them, and put info on their website about unclaimed horses.

They have 150 stalls and are providing hay, sawdust, water and all lodging for free.  They even have a trailer to shuttle horses if needed.

Please call before dropping horses off.
Buckets and additional supplies appreciated.
