The Journey Of Montana's Favorite Dairy Queen Blizzard Flavor

I'm not going to lie, I have a bit of a sweet tooth. It's not as bad as my wife however, she has sweet teeth. It's not just her though, it's her entire family, they are firm believers that you should eat dessert first, which I just find completely odd.

Growing up, dessert wasn't a regular menu item in the house of John and Diane. In fact, the only time we had it was for holidays, birthdays, or someone important was coming for dinner, like family.

Speaking of family, it was my Uncle Roger that first introduced me. We were mowing my Grandpa's yard and cutting down all of the weeds, and afterwards, he said let's go to "Dairy Queen". Now, I had been to Dairy Queen before, but I had never had a Blizzard until that glorious day. I don't even remember the flavor, I just remember it was a game changer.

It seems I'm not the only one here in Montana that loves the DQ Blizzard.

According to the folks over at YAY, they decided to discover which fast food dessert took the crown as each states favorite, and here in Big Sky Country, it was the Dairy Queen Blizzard...BUT, it wasn't just any Blizzard, it's a certain flavor that Montanans love.

The most popular flavor of Blizzard in Montana just happens to be Cookie Dough. I'm not going to lie, I'm a fan. However, is that really the best flavor? What do you think? Is there a flavor of Blizzard that you prefer more?
