Father’s Day – What Dad Really Wants

Father's Day.  What to get Dad.  Did you know that it wasn't until 1966 that Father's Day was first delcared a holiday.

It's always tough trying to figure this one out.  Being a Dad, I personally don't want store bought gifts.  A nice hug and 'I love you Dad' has always been enough for me.  I'm sure I got that from MY Dad!  'Don't go wasting any money on me' was something he was always telling me.  I ended up telling my kids the same thing!  Now that they're all out on their own, I just wait for the phone call...or nowadays the text message that says "HAPPY FATHER'S DAY DAD"...
