When fall comes, Montana nights can get a bit chilly. The fresh mountain air, your front steps, a fuzzy blanket, and a perfect night cap. Sounds pretty alright if you ask me.
With the help from Pioneer Woman, I have taken their list of 30 of the Best Fall Cocktails and slimmed it down to 10 that I think many Montanan's would enjoy.

Here are 10 Great Drinks For A Chilly Montana Night
- 4oz. apple cider
- 3 oz. vodka
- 2 oz. butterscotch schnapps
- 1 1/2 oz. gin
- 1 1/2 oz. red vermouth
- 1 1/2 oz. Campari
- 2 oz. vanilla vodka
- 2 oz. cinnamon whiskey
- 8 oz. apple cider
- 1 oz. half & half
- caramel sauce
- cinnamon sugar
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. ground allspice
- 1 gal. apple cider, divided
- 1 medium navel orange
- 10 whole cloves
- 2 medium lemons
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 3 star anise pods
- 1 c. cranberry juice cocktail
- Bourbon or Brandy
- 2 1/2 oz. vanilla vodka
- 1 1/2 oz. aged rum
- 1/4 c. pumpkin puree
- 3 Tbsp. maple syrup
- 1/4 c. half-and-half
- 1/4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice, plus additional for garnish
- 4 whole cinnamon sticks
- 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
- 8 whole allspice berries
- orange peel from 1 orange
- lemon peel from 1 lemon
- 1/2 c. maple syrup
- 6 c. apple cider or freshly squeezed apple juice
- apple slices and orange twists
- 1/2 c dark rum (optional)
- 3/4 c. hot water
- 1 1/2 oz. whisky or bourbon
- 1 Tbsp. honey
- 1/2 oz. lemon juice
- 1/2 c. salted butter, softened
- 1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. apple pie spice
- 12 oz. spiced dark rum
- 2. slices of orange, quartered
- 6. whole cloves
- 1/2 gal. apple cider
- 1 Granny Smith apple, diced
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. bourbon
Spiced Apple Cider Pomegranate Moscow Mule
- 4 oz. fluid Vodka, Chilled
- 2 pinches Cinnamon
- 1/4 c. Apple Cider, Chilled
- 1/2 c. Sparkling Pomegranate Juice, Chilled
- 12 oz. fluid Ginger Beer
Some of these drinks are warm and some will just warm your insides. You can use non-alcoholic substitutes to create the same great drink.
