I've been doing a little research and have found that Montana has some really crazy laws! Did you know it's a felony for a wife to open her husband's mail? That's just the tip of the iceberg. It's also illegal for married women to go fishing alone on Sundays, and it's illegal for unmarried women to fish alone at all.

In Billings, it’s illegal to bring a bomb or rocket to city council proceedings. In Excelsior Springs, it's illegal to throw a ball within city limits... No wonder the football team hasn't won a game in 65 years (I just made that up). Oh yeah, and if you plan on visiting Excelsior Springs, you better not "worry" the squirrels, because that's illegal too.

In the state of Montana, Indians in groups of 7 or more are considered a war party, and don't forget that you must have a chaperone if you plan on driving with a sheep.

It's also illegal for men and women to have sex in any other position than missionary style.

Enough about laws, how about some other strange facts about Montana?

Fort Keogh holds the record for the largest snowflake ever observed, which was an astounding 15 inches in diameter.

There are more cattle in Montana than there are people.

My favorite fact about Montana is that Evel Kneivel was from the Treasure State.

There are many more interesting facts about Montana. In fact, there are way too many to list!
