Facebook Launches ‘Expected Child’ Feature

Facebook has quietly launched a new feature allowing you announce and document your pregnancy.

There's a new "expected child" field, in which users can announce their due date and chosen name without creating a separate page for the unborn child.

HOW TO ADD AN EXPECTED CHILD TO YOUR ACCOUNT

• Click 'Edit Profile' on user profile page
• Choose the Family & Friends tab and select 'Add another family member'
• From drop-down menu click on 'Expected: Child'
• Enter a due date and a chosen name for the unborn baby
