If You Are Traveling To England, You Need To Know This
When you travel internationally, you want things to go as smoothly as possible.
Many Montanans are looking forward to traveling internationally in 2023 out of the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport, and what's not to get excited about? You get to travel to a new place and experience new things.
The only problem is if you haven't traveled internationally before, you might want to learn that some countries can be a little harder to get into than others. For instance, if you want to go to Australia, you need to apply for a travel visa and get approved before purchasing your ticket. Sounds wild, right?
Well, now a popular international travel destination for many Montanans will ask travelers to take an extra step before they visit their country.
USA Today reports that the United Kingdom will have travelers apply for permission to visit. Travelers will have to fill out a form and pay a small fee before they travel to the United Kingdom. The reason behind this is to keep the United Kingdom's borders safe and to know who is coming in and out of their countries.
The United Kingdom consists of four countries, England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Wales. Many Montanans have ancestry in these countries and love traveling there and learning bout their heritage. Plus, it's relatively cheap to fly to England compared to other parts of the world.
The good news for anyone planning to travel to any part of the United Kingdom soon is this policy won't start till the end of 2023. So if you are going to the United Kingdom before the fall, you do not need to worry.
