Easter is just a few days away, and soon many Montanans will be waking up to see what, if anything, the Easter Bunny left them.

Of course there are several different traditions that folks have this time of year. There is the coloring of the eggs, the revealing of the new Easter outfits, Easter Baskets, going to Easter Service, or getting together for a big Easter meal.

Whatever your traditions, I want to wish you a very Happy Easter and I hope you have the chance to spend time with those you love and are able to make some wonderful memories.

Now, let's get to the good stuff. The Easter Candy.

While I am no longer on the Easter Bunny's list of stops, I do enjoy a little bit of Easter Candy this time of year. For me, my favorite is the Cadbury Mini Eggs. I'm not going to lie, every year I buy a bag or two and then it's a race between my wife and I will finish them off first (she usually wins)

Although Montana is near the bottom of the list for states that get excited of Easter Candy, according to the data from InnerBody, we have the 5 Favorite and 5 Least Favorite Candies for this time of year.

Which Easter Candies are the most popular?

First, let's do the favorites.

  • Peeps
  • Chocolate Bunny
  • Jelly Belly
  • Swedish Fish
  • Reese's Eggs

I'm going to be honest, you either love the Peeps are you hate them. I'm not a fan, and while I find it hard to believe they're the number one Easter Candy, I will agree to disagree on this one.

Which Easter Candies are the least popular?

Let's look at the least favorites.

  • Cadbury Creme Eggs
  • Jolly Rancher Gummies
  • Jordan Almonds
  • Easter M&M
  • PEZ

Once again, I'm not sure how much I agree with the list. I'm a fan of everything on the least favorite list except for the PEZ and I would still eat those over PEEPS.
