Chase Bryant – #3 Artists to Watch in 2015

Last week Amy and I were in Memphis to visit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. While we were there, we mingled with a few Country artists who were also there to support St. Jude.

It turns out that one of them, Chase Bryant, is Taste of Country Music's #3 artists to watch this year in Country music.

I have to admit, I didn't know much about Chase at the time. I love his debut song, Take It On Back, and our conversation in the lobby of the Peabody Hotel centered around his show the next night in his hometown back in Texas. He was pretty excited since he had not performed there since his breakout single had started burning up the country music charts.

Here's something else I just found out about Chase. He's the grandson of Jimmy Bryant, who performed for Roy Orbison, and the nephew of Jeff and Junior Bryant, co-founders of the group Ricochet.
