Caught On Video: Montana Students React To Charlie Kirk Shooting

For the last week, whether it's the mainstream media or social media, folks have been talking about the shooting and killing of Charlie Kirk.

Kirk, who was scheduled to be at Montana State University next month, was assassinated in front of thousands of people, including his family, at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, last week. The killing kicked off a major manhunt as well as several different conspiracy theories and opinions.

Was it a professional shooter? Do they have the right person? Was it a lone gunman or were there others involved?

Because we live in a 24/7 news cycle where everyone has a platform, thousands of people shared their opinions. Many of them mourned the loss of the iconic figure, while others decided that his killing was something of "karma" or in need of some sort of celebration.

All across America, people reacted, including here in Montana.

As you can imagine, many Montanans were outraged by the killing. Some wanted to put together vigils, while others took a more aggressive approach. However, in what might be one of the most disturbing examples of the divide our country faces happened right here in Big Sky Country.

TikTok Video Shows University of Montana Students' Reaction

A video has been posted that was taken at the University of Montana in Missoula of someone announcing the shooting of Mr. Kirk, and you see many of the students celebrating. The person announcing the shooting was visibly upset with the reaction, only to find that those celebrating became even more engaged.

The video is posted below, and please be aware that it contains language that might be considered offensive to many.
