Big news for Bozeman Deaconess!

Bozeman Deaconess Cancer Center recently was invited by the National Comprehensive Cancer Network  (NCCN) to join a very select group of community-based research affiliates which are now able to offer nearly 75 new clinical cancer research trials to their patients.

“Only six affiliates were chosen to participate, from among all the cancer centers across the country,” said Spencer Green, Business Operations Manager for Bozeman Deaconess Cancer Center.

Once nominated for affiliation, Bozeman Deaconess Cancer Center had a site visit from NCCN investigators to talk with doctors, tour the facilities and determine if the site was suitable for research projects headed up by some of the country’s top cancer investigators.

Added Green, “This offers our patients another opportunity to receive cutting edge treatment without requiring them to travel to a large city, where many of these trials originate.”
