Beautiful Montana National Park Price Increase, 2024-25
This is the first fee rate change since 2007 for Glacier National Park, so it shouldn't come as too much of a shock that there would eventually be an increase. Especially considering the amount of visitors each year is drastically increasing year by year.

Reason for the increase? Simple. It's the same reason that many other places need to have a fee increase. To keep roads in ideal conditions, trail and campground repairs and improvements, and to also complete facility restorations.
The Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act allows the collection of expanded amenity fees including camping fees. Glacier National Park is then able to keep around 80% of those fees to make the park a memorable experience.

Here are some of the increases you can expect at most frontcountry campgrounds in 2024 and Apgar Group Sites in 2025.
- Campsites will increase between $3 and $10 just depending on the type of site you want.
- For some group sites, you could see a $30 increase while others will decrease by $20.
